Testing Coordinator

Job Summary:
In this role, you will assist members, staff, and third parties with general aspects of system testing, staff training, and education activities for the Credit Union. Support the projects of the credit union by leading and implementing testing strategies and initiatives. Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and/or the project sponsor or lead to review test procedures and develop test cases. Recruit User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Testers to execute test cases under varying circumstances and documenting and evaluating test results. Track defects and help troubleshoot errors. Assist with reviewing, updating, and developing job aids to help in training effectiveness of new system and/or changes, and assist Training & Education Manager with overall quality and effectiveness of credit union testing and training.

Salary: $23.00 - $28.00 Per Hour Depending on Experience

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and execute test strategies for all projects, products, and services throughout the organization, to include the development of test plans, scenarios, and test cases.
Coordinate/Recruit and schedule resources needed for testing, such as people, systems, and projects.
Serve as the main UAT contact and oversee all test delivery performed by UAT Testers. Provide management with feedback on participation and results.
Maintain documentation by reviewing, updating and developing job aids to help training effectiveness. Communicate findings to appropriate stakeholders.
Develop positive working relationships with SMEs and work with SMEs in applicable areas to ensure gaps in process/procedure are filled.
Provide testing methodology training to testers, specific to each project or upgrade being completed.
Provide detailed estimates on allocated test preparation and execution estimates for projects
Define conditions, test cases, test sets, and run orders.
Ensure documentation of defects/errors is maintained and communicated.
Identify and support the implementation of new technologies, methodologies, and innovative solutions regarding testing, sharing this information with applicable stakeholders.
Communicate clearly with all stakeholders within the organization and with our preferred vendors.
Utilize strong leadership skills to positively influence others and manage change through testing.
Maintain an understanding of how systems work together.
Lead by asking questions to uncover needs and gain clarification.
Assist Training & Education Manager with overall quality and effectiveness of credit union testing and training.

Qualifications:
Required Skills:

Minimum two years of similar or related experience, including test case management, software testing, quality assurance, product management, or project management. Financial institution experiences preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
