Indirect Lending MSR
Job Summary:
In this role, you will assist members, staff and third-party partners with general aspects of indirect consumer lending for the credit union. You’ll review newly approved consumer loan applications for accuracy. Collect and review supporting loan documentation. Accurately open new membership accounts in preparation of loan origination. Verify loan product, terms, and interest rate are accurate prior to funding. Timely and accurate origination of consumer indirect vehicle loans. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Effective follow-up and resolution for missing documentation on pending loan files
Salary: $20.00- $26.00 Per Hour Depending on Experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and update newly submitted loan applications for accuracy.
- Communicate directly with dealership and refinance partners to resolve loan file issues.
- Collect and review supporting documents required, as needed, to process the loan application.
- Calculate gross monthly income utilizing submitted documentation.
- Document all actions taken within the electronic loan origination computer system.
- Review loan origination documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Review all loan application information and documents prior to funding the loan.
- Verify the loan product and interest rate are accurate prior to funding the loan.
- Accurately fund and originate the new loan including disbursement of loan proceeds to designated payees.
- Accurately open new membership accounts including field of membership eligibility.
- Verification that all policy and procedural requirements were met during the funding process.
- Timely follow-up and resolution of loan files missing items preventing them from being funded.
- Effectively manage a personal queue of loan applications to maximize productivity.
- Ensure loan documents are archived for records retention purposes.
- Provide administrative support to the department as needed.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Minimum of six months of similar or related experience in lending, banking, or financial services.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- General knowledge of lending industry regulations, including Reg B, D, E, Z, CC, DD, FCRA, BSA, Patriot Act, Anti-Money Laundering rules, OFAC, HMDA, TRID, BSA, ECOA, FDCPA, TCPA, and MLA
